Katie Hansen-Reading

Katie is the Innovation Product Owner for PestConnect Optix at Rentokil Initial. She coordinates the development of camera solutions – hardware, software, and AI – and manages the rollout and deployment across our global business.

She draws on her experience of product development and project management to understand business challenges in pest control and how technology solutions can help improve colleague and customer experiences.

Katie’s background and experience

Katie has built her career around delivering projects, improving customer experiences, and leading teams in fast-paced operational environments. She joined Rentokil Initial as a Special Projects Manager before moving into her current role as product owner.

In her product role, Katie works across teams to support the development and delivery of products and initiatives. She draws on her strengths to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage varying customer landscapes, and ultimately create and deliver solutions that challenge how pest control is delivered to customers.
